Patients.

You remind me to take my medicine. You let me know when I have a doctors appointment. You tell me when I need to eat. You monitor my weight. You give me my pills.
  But sometimes all I really want is you to tell me you love me. You & he. They & her - Pay attention to me.  Remind me that I’m beautiful. Let me know you want me. Tell me something sweet. Ask me on a date. I want to be more than a “patient.”I am more then my pain. I am still Kerri. I am still here.
